Look Who It Is!

Well well well! Look who decided to show up! I'm back (obviously) from my pathetically negligent "vacation". on our agenda for today is....

-My Stitches (OMG!)
-The Party (ARGH!/w00t!)
uuhhhhhh what else?? OH YEAH!
-Rock the River

I went up to Alley's cabin, and it was fun-other than the stitches. Although I WILL get an awesome scar to show off from it. Don't worry. I've already gotten the speech from everyone about how to avoid the scarring, but whatever. I'll do what I want. So ANYWAYS. We decided that we were going to hike across the island that her cabin is on, so we got halfway-ish, and then we went towards the shoreline. We guessed which way was closer to the cabin, and ended up hiking the long way around. We stopped periodically to rest and climb on the bluffs that were all over the fringes of the island. We saw a doe, got eaten by mosquitos (only a little though) and destroyed our legs on all the branches n junk that littered the ground. We continued to hug the shoreline, so we encountered some areas where the only way to keep going without backtracking and bushwhacking, was to climb up the rocks. We kept going and going and going, and then one time when Alley wanted to stop and climb (because "climbing is her favorite part!") she climbed down (so she could climb back up) and my brain said "Go for it! You like climbing too you know!" and the other -smart-part of me was like "DONT DO IT! What are you going to do if someone gets hurt?! And PLUS, she's about 40 pounds lighter than you are! What holds for her, isn't necessarily going to hold for you!" But do I EVER listen to the sensible side of my brain? Nope. That's probably why I'm so accident prone. As I started climbing down, there was a very large, sharp and also....LOOSE rock, which slid down, scraped one leg, and then got caught on my foot (since it was big, it was heavy, and it hurt) then, instead of moving the leg that wasn't caught BEFORE i dislodged the rock, I kept my leg right where it was. So the rock went down and chopped my leg open and then caught on my other foot! then, I climbed down (that rock was a major handhold since it was a big rock.) then climbed up another area. My leg was bleeding a bunch ----> ------> ------> fast forward through some hiking, we came to a cabin and got a couple bandaids to hold my leg over , the chick went and got the trashcan for the paper towels I used to wipe my leg some, and she was all like "hehe...blood these days you know..." ...um EXCUSE ME Ms. Rudeness? I would've thrown away my own papertowels WITHOUT you making your stupid comment. I don't expect random strangers to handle bloody paper towels that I used, when I'm perfectly capable of throwing them away!----->------>-------->fast forward some more...we got back to the cabin (as my leg continued to bleed) and Alley was freaking out and her brother and his friend were trying to prod at my leg, and then we (more like they... I could've handled it myself.) woke up their dad and he bandaged my leg. It didn't seem like they(doctors) could stitch it, so we just bandaged it, and checked on it. That night he decided that we'd go in to the hospital to get it checked out. Just in case. I got 9 stitches, and some fun antibiotics that I had to take 4x a day. So for ten days I couldn't bike or do cross country. Ten days later, I'm rid of them, and I'm going back to cross country tomorrow.

NEXT!!

The party is saturday, and its gonna rock! but the thing is, Mark and Lauren still haven't given me a definate answer, and I need to know by tomorrow in order to clean and plan food and stuff like that. But it will be fun anyways -if you ignore all of my sisters friends that will also be there.

NEXT!!

I went to Rock the River (It's like a smaller Sonshine) and I saw concerts and stuff and it was fun! But the thing that wasn't fun was waiting in line for two hours to get ONE piece of pizza. The food vendors were slow and stopped serving food whenever this one guy got up to give some stupid sermon. This guy came up about every hour, and he talked for a LONG time. So Everyone in line was super annoyed. I almost missed the Flyleaf concert because of the line. But I didn't so it was ok.

So now that I'm back, I'm going to try and stay on top of it. Even during sports and the school year and stuff.
So I'll ttyl (type to ya later)...
